Great to see that the sport of lacrosse, which is working so hard to celebrate its First Nations origins, has selected two Black players as their MVPs this year. Trevor Baptiste is MVP of the Premier Lacrosse League, and Dhane Smith is a two-time MVP in the National Lacrosse League (2016 and again this season).
