ORRAA is the only multi-sector alliance connecting finance and insurance institutions, governments, multilateral organisations, civil society and local partners to help unlock investment in coastal and ocean resilience through nature-based solutions.

Planned activity will include engaging with our supporters, ocean-education initiatives, research and thought-leadership events, bringing together leaders from business, finance and sustainability, and exploring nature-based solutions.

Karen Sack, executive director of ORRAA, said: “Our alliance works from beachfront to boardroom to build the investable solutions that will regenerate nature and build community resilience.

“We back brilliant entrepreneurs in coastal communities and work with some of the largest insurance and finance companies globally.

“We also have seen first-hand the power of football in raising awareness. Just as the ocean unites us all, so does football. Bringing the Liverpool FC boot room into the mix is going to bring extra focus to these stories of innovation, entrepreneurship, resilience and action.”
